Do Not Call (DNC) Policy
1. Commitment to Compliance
Autoquotes ("we," "our," or "us") respects the privacy and communication preferences of consumers. It is our policy to comply with all federal and state laws and regulations governing commercial telemarketing, telephone solicitations, and text/SMS messaging, including the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), the Telemarketing Sales Rule (TSR), and regulations established by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and Federal Trade Commission (FTC).
2. Internal Do Not Call List
Autoquotes maintains an internal Do Not Call ("DNC") list of telephone numbers belonging to consumers who have expressly requested not to receive telemarketing phone calls or text messages from or on behalf of Autoquotes.
Consumers who do not wish to receive telephone communications from our authorized referral network regarding auto insurance quote requests may have their phone numbers placed on our internal DNC list.
3. How to Request Placement on Our DNC List
You may request that your telephone number be added to our internal Do Not Call list through any of the following methods:
- Email: Send an email with the subject line "Do Not Call Request" to info@autoquotes.us. Please include the telephone number(s) you wish to register along with your full name.
- Phone / During a Call: Call us directly at (423) 960-2004 or inform any customer service representative or calling agent clearly that you wish to be placed on our Do Not Call list.
- SMS / Text Opt-Out: If you receive a text message from an authorized communication system, reply with the word STOP, QUIT, UNSUBSCRIBE, or CANCEL to automatically opt out of text communications.
4. Processing and Retention of DNC Requests
Upon receipt of a valid Do Not Call request:
- Your telephone number will be entered into our internal Do Not Call database within thirty (30) calendar days or sooner as required by applicable state regulations.
- Once recorded, your number will remain on our internal DNC list for a minimum period of five (5) years, unless you subsequently provide new express written consent to be contacted.
- If your telephone number changes, you must submit a new request identifying your updated number.
5. National and State Do Not Call Registries
The Federal Trade Commission operates the National Do Not Call Registry. You can register your residential or mobile phone number for free by visiting www.donotcall.gov or calling 1-888-382-1222.
Please note that submitting a quote-request form through our website constitutes an express inquiry and business relationship, which permits authorized contact regarding your quote inquiry for a limited duration unless you specifically request placement on our internal DNC list.
6. Third-Party Referral Partners
Autoquotes operates as an informational quote-request service connecting consumers with independent licensed insurance agents, brokers, and carriers. We mandate that our authorized partners maintain independent compliance with all TCPA and TSR requirements. If you receive an unwanted call from a third-party partner, you may request placement on their respective internal DNC list directly or notify us at info@autoquotes.us so we can assist in notifying our partner network.
7. Questions and Compliance Contact
If you have questions regarding this Do Not Call Policy or believe you have received a communication in error after submitting an opt-out request, please contact our compliance desk:
